Wall concept · Motif · Production · Hanging plan
Not a picture from a catalogue. We develop motif, format, framing and hanging as one concept – for law firms, practices, hotels and homes.
Floors are chosen, furniture is planned, light is calculated. The wall ends up with whichever picture was left over. Yet it is the first thing anyone sees on entering the room.
What we take care of →
01
We look at your space: how the light falls, the wall surfaces, the sight lines, the use. From that comes a picture concept, not a single suggestion.
02
Abstract works, developed for the colour and proportion of your space. As a series across several walls if you wish.
03
Format, frame profile and passepartout are calculated from wall width, furniture and viewing distance.
04
Printing, framing and delivery, plus a hanging plan with dimensions, heights and drilling points – so the work hangs exactly where it was planned.
Choose the space, choose the work, try formats and frames. The view is perspectively correct – what you see here is what will hang there.

Wall art is not decoration for the first day. These works are built to stay calm in everyday use and to remain interesting in the detail.

Authority can be furnished. Calm, deep colour, a large format, a clear axis to the seating.
Waiting feels shorter when there is something to look at. Motifs that calm rather than demand.
The first impression forms in the lobby and repeats along every corridor. Series rather than single pictures.
The room decides whether the impression from the lobby holds. The free wall surface sits beside the television, not above it – a motif works there without competing with the screen.
For hotels
For hotels we put together series that stay in the house and change: seasonally, or to match the current colour concept of the interior. Lobby, corridors and rooms are planned as one sequence, tuned to the colours that are actually in the space and to what the house needs. The works are leased rather than bought – billed as an annual flat fee based on the number of works, with changes included for the term.
The room where most happens usually has the barest wall.
A picture above the sofa is the standard solution. A concept across the whole wall is the better one.
Wall art for a child’s world · home decor for children’s rooms
Something that won’t be embarrassing in two years.
Whether the room is kept in rosé, in sage or entirely neutral – there is a work for every colour world. And because these motifs tell no story a child outgrows, they will still be right on the wall in three years’ time.
Scale determines whether a work belongs to the space or disappears within it. Three proportions offer a useful starting point.
Picture width: 60 to 75 percent of the furniture below it.
The picture covers half to two thirds of the free wall.
Centre of the picture 145 to 150 cm above the floor, lower in a child’s room, at the child’s eye level.
Square formats are of course not the limit. Working with you, we develop a concept of our own for subject, proportion and colour, made for your wall and your room.

Clarify the finish for your space →Prompt Staging · digital spatial studies for art
An idea becomes an image. The image enters a space. Only there do colour, scale and material show how they work together. Prompt Staging brings the design and its spatial context together before anything goes into production. Every work is released once, then leaves the selection.

Kiril Damyanov – architect (TU Munich) and digital artist. Self-employed for 14 years, based in Munich since 2002.
Under 3dkad he produces visualisations for developers and architecture practices: spaces that do not exist yet, shown so that you believe them. Wall art is a continuation of the same work – I know how a space reads before it is finished, and what a wall does to it.
